Jeanne retired from the IBM Corporation after 36 years, with 26 of those years in IBM Resiliency Services US where she was the Business Continuity Program Manager.  She has many years of professional experience in business, information technology, and community emergency preparedness.  Business and personal experience and areas of expertise include but are not limited to: emergency/disaster awareness and education; emergency/disaster incident management planning, exercising, testing, and response/recovery execution; business risk identification, mitigation, and impact analysis; data center and hot-site design and technical support; system and process design; application programming and integration; and regulatory and security compliance.  Program and Project Management methods, techniques, documentation, tools, and tracking were used when leading teams, if and as appropriate.

In her personal life, Jeanne is a leader in her local Community Emergency Response Team (CERT) and Explorers group (teen CERT).  She is a certified CERT instructor and regularly teaches basic and advanced CERT training.  She is a trained Incident Commander, certified in Search and Rescue (SARTECH), and has been called upon and actively responded to several actual disaster situations in her geographic vicinity.  Jeanne’s knowledge, expertise, and teaching style reflect both her professional and personal experience.
